LinkedIn outreach, from the account you already have
Every hosted outreach tool acquires leads the same way: by paging LinkedIn search on a real, signed-in account. Slicegraph does that too, from your own account, and adds the two things the others cannot: a sequence engine that branches, and campaigns fed by official company events.

Steps you can use
A campaign is a workflow drawn as a vertical spine. Each step below is one card; conditions fork the spine into two columns.
| Step | What it does | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Connection invite | Sends a connection request, with or without a note. Blank notes are accepted more often. | Note up to 300 characters; one invite per sequence |
| View profile | Opens the profile before the next touch, so the person sees a visit first. | Counts against the daily profile-view cap |
| Wait | Pauses the sequence for a number of days and hours, shifted by a few hours at random. | At least one hour |
| Message | Sends a LinkedIn message to someone in your network. | Up to 8,000 characters |
| InMail | Reaches someone outside your network through a Sales Navigator or Premium seat. A connected person gets it as a normal message, free. | Subject 200, body 1,900 characters; spends one credit |
| Withdraw invite | Cancels the pending invite so the account's queue does not fill with silence. | Only after an invite step |
| Condition | Branches on whether the invite was accepted, a reply arrived, the profile was viewed, or a number of days passed. | Yes and no paths both required |
| End | Stops the sequence, marking the lead finished or stopped. | Nothing may follow it |
Variables
Copy can use {{firstName}}, {{lastName}}, {{company}}, {{headline}}, {{signalTitle}} and {{signalType}}. A fallback such as {{firstName|there}} covers the rows where a value is missing. Unknown variables and leftover [placeholders] stop a campaign from activating.
Templates to start from
Single follow-up
A blank invite followed by one short message after connection.
Soft introduction
A gentle introduction with one final follow-up four days later.
Signal-led outreach
Opens with the company event that put the lead in the campaign.
Invite, then InMail the silent ones
Messages those who accept; after two weeks withdraws the rest and reaches them by InMail instead.
Where the people come from
- Audience search
- Filter on title, keywords, location, industry, company, job function and connection degree on the connected account's own LinkedIn. Preview up to 250 rows, each marked new, already in a campaign, recently contacted or blocklisted, then import the ones you want. The search stays attached and re-arms after seven days, so new matches keep arriving.
- A pasted URL
- Any LinkedIn people search, Sales Navigator search or saved lead list. Premium filters such as company size and seniority carry through the URL.
- The browser extension
- Open a profile, a search or a list and press Add current page; it goes to the campaign you pick. The extension sends only that URL, and only after you click.
- A Slicegraph feed
- New signals resolve to the people at that company, at most two per company, matching the titles you set. The lead carries the event, so {{signalTitle}} works in your copy.
- Pasted profiles
- A list of profile URLs, enriched one at a time within the profile-view cap.
Sending limits and safety
Each sender has a preset that fixes its daily and weekly caps, and the worker samples a value inside the preset's range every day, so no two days look alike. A new account warms up from five invites a day, adding five each weekday until it reaches its cap. Actions are also paced across the window: what is left of the day's budget is spread over what is left of the day, so a sender on Balanced sends an invite roughly every half hour rather than all of them in the first hour.
| Preset | Invites per day | Invites per week | Messages per day | Profile views per day | Minimum gap between actions |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Conservative | 8 to 10 | 40 to 50 | 24 to 30 | 16 to 20 | 4 to 8 minutes |
| Balanced | 12 to 15 | 60 to 75 | 40 to 50 | 20 to 25 | 2 to 5 minutes |
| Faster | 16 to 20 | 80 to 100 | 56 to 70 | 32 to 40 | 1 to 3 minutes |
- ✓Invites nobody answered are withdrawn after 21 days, a few at a time, so the pending queue never becomes a signal LinkedIn restricts on.
- ✓A rate limit freezes the sender for two hours, or 24 hours when LinkedIn itself asks it to slow down. Nothing retries into a wall.
- ✓A reply stops that person's sequence immediately. Opting someone out adds them to a suppression list that survives deleting the lead.
- ✓Pausing a sender or a campaign takes effect on the worker's next pass, within a few minutes.
One inbox
Every reply lands in the inbox with the campaign and the step that earned it. Answer from the app; the reply is queued and sent inside the sender's window like everything else. Mark a conversation won, close it, or opt the person out.
For agents
Slicegraph exposes an MCP server. An agent can list senders, create a draft campaign, set its workflow, look up filter values, preview and import an audience, and pause a running campaign. It can never activate one: that click stays with a signed-in person.

Questions
- Does it need Sales Navigator?
- No. Everything works on a free or Premium account. A Sales Navigator or Premium seat is only required for the InMail step and for Sales Navigator search filters; without one the builder simply does not offer them.
- What do you store about the people I contact?
- Name, headline, company, LinkedIn URL and the public profile fields needed for templating. Never an email address or phone number: the profile schema strips them before anything is written. Your LinkedIn cookie and password are used once to open the connection and are not kept.
- Can several people send from one campaign?
- A campaign is bound to one sender. Run one campaign per sender and share the audience across them; each sender keeps its own limits.
- Is my account safe?
- The limits reduce risk and reflect what hosted tools have used for years, but no tool can guarantee LinkedIn will never restrict an account. Start on Conservative, keep the invite note short, and let the warmup run.
